Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the product, account and billing.

A virtual phone number is a online telephone number that is not directly tied to a specific physical phone line or device. Instead, it operates through the internet and is typically managed via cloud-based systems (like Numgo). Virtual phone numbers are often used for business, personal, or marketing purposes because they offer flexibility and advanced features.

We invite you to try out our services for free. Experience the advantages and functionalities of a virtual number firsthand through this complimentary trial (14 days). You can have 5 sms messages for free and 1 incoming call. For instructions on beginning your free trial reach out to our team at [email protected]. We're committed to assisting you throughout your journey. The count of trial numbers is limited.

Your virtual phone number is valid from 1 month to 12 months (depending on the purchase period) following the purchase date. After expiry, it will automatically renew each month if your account has enough funds. You can maintain your balance through automated top-ups with your subscription or via manual one-time credit card payment. Enjoy uninterrupted service by keeping your account funded!

Insufficient funds will cause automatic deactivation of your virtual numbers. Don't worry, we will notify you 3 days before the expiration date of the number. You will have the chance to restore the number within 10 days of expiration for the monthly subscription amount. Following this period, we cannot guarantee the availability of the number for recovery, and the number may be permanently lost.

You can purchase as many virtual phone numbers as you want per account, as there are no restrictions. For multiple number purchases, you can specify the count of numbers to purchase (up to 20). The number of such purchases is unlimited and limited only by your funds. Auto-renewal of the online number takes place at the new price (if it has changed).

To disable auto-renewal, navigate to the Settings section for your number. If your balance runs out or is insufficient to renew the plan for the following month, your number will automatically be deactivated. You can restore your number within 10 days of deactivation (number gets status 'Expired'). After this period, the availability of the number for restoration is not guaranteed (number gets status 'Deleted').

The number will be renewed automatically every month for a month in advance. The funds for the renewal will be automatically withdrawn from your balance. You can disable auto-renewal in your dashboard for each number.

Yes, you can buy just one number for worldwide calling. It functions like a regular phone number. You can make and receive calls from anywhere unless otherwise specified when purchasing the number.

When you purchase a online phone number from Numgo, it remains valid as long as you continue paying for it, provided that you have auto-renewal enabled and have enough money on your balance. The day of subscription expiration is equal to the day of order plus the period of order minus one day. Here's how it generally works:

  • If you buy the number on January 2nd, the next renewal will start on February 1st.
  • If you buy the number on January 31st, the next renewal will start on February 27th (or February 28th in a leap year). After that, the cycle will continue on the last day of each subsequent month (e.g., March 30st, April 29, etc.).
  • If you purchase a number for a year, for example, on March 10th, the number will be valid until March 9th next year.

Absolutely not! Once you complete your purchase via our website or mobile app, your number is immediately ready for use. There's no need for any additional activation steps.

Once activated, your virtual phone number provides unlimited access to our services, no matter where you are. All you need is an internet and our app or website.

No documents are needed to purchase Numgo services. You can receive any SMS and calls without extra verification. However, if you wish to make outgoing calls and send SMS, you need to provide a photo of your passport along with your registration address, including city, street, and building, to our support team for KYC (Know You Customer) verification.

Cashback is a reward program that gives you a percentage of your purchases back to your account balance. Cashback is credited for any Numgo purchase (order or renewal) and is immediately available on your balance. Cashback can't be withdrawn and only used for future purchases.

Depending on the funds you have spent in our service (buying numbers, receiving or sending SMS/calls, renewal of numbers), you can receive a personal cashback on all future purchases. The cashback is dynamic, meaning the more money you spend, the higher it is. You can view the personal cashback value and the amount of money spent in the account menu.

Transactions window shows all top-ups and withdrawals from your balance, as well as the type of transaction. For example, order, cashback, top-up, etc.

At Numgo, we offer only verified numbers to make sure your SMS get through smoothly. Our service is very reliable, but sometimes third-party platforms may impact the delivery of SMS. • The service is blocked in the country/state where the number belongs.
  • SMS message contains links, email, etc.
  • Insufficient balance of your account
  • Technical failure on the operator's side.
  • Other reasons beyond our control.

If your Numgo number isn’t working properly, like if you can’t make or receive calls or send SMS as described, you can get a refund. We make sure our numbers do what we say they do, and if they don’t, we’ll give your money back. But if the number is working as expected and you just don’t need it anymore or changed your mind, we can’t offer a refund in that case. You can also check out our Refund Policy.

No, you can’t use your Numgo number without an internet connection. You need to be online for the service to work. However, once you’re back online, you’ll receive any SMS that were sent while you were offline, and any incoming calls will show up as missed
