Virtual Number Rental
Our platform facilitates the rental of virtual numbers as an intermediary. The rental duration is flexible, catering to various user needs.
Using virtual phone numbers, you agree that you may receive/send incoming/outgoing calls and SMS messages from other mobile network subscribers. You can block incoming notifications in the application settings.
Virtual phone number could have previously been used to access any online service (this is also true for any other non-virtual number). If necessary, contact the support of the online service you are interested in.
Virtual phone numbers are ordered monthly.
A monthly purchasing means that the expiry day is calculated using the formula:
- The day of the order placement + (plus) the period for which the number was purchased - (minus) one day.
For example, If the purchase was made on February 27, then the expiry date is March 26. If the order was placed on January 31, and there are only 28 days in February, then the expiry date will be February 28 - 1 = February 27.
Multiple Purchase of Virtual Numbers
When purchasing multiple virtual numbers, the first number is selected manually by the user, while additional numbers are randomly assigned. If the selected number is unavailable, another number will be automatically assigned.
The maximum number of virtual phone numbers for a one-time multiple purchase is 20.
The maximum period for which a virtual phone number can be purchased or extended is 12 months.
SMS and Voice Call Delivery
We cannot guarantee SMS delivery due to potential interruptions beyond our control. Users should be aware of this limitation.
To access services such as outgoing SMS and phone calls, users are required to complete a verification process.
Important: SMS delivery and call functionality may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as platform restrictions or country-specific regulations. Please review the list of supported platforms and countries before purchasing. The specified list does not guarantee receiving an SMS or a call from this platform. There are situations when the service blocks sending SMS for an unknown reason. Keep that in mind.
Possible reasons for non-delivery:
- The service is blocked in the country/state where the number belongs.
- SMS message contains links, email, etc.
- Insufficient balance of your account
- Technical failure on the operator's side.
- Other reasons beyond our control.
Outgoing SMS messages to US and Canadian numbers are currently unavailable. We also do not deliver calls and SMS messages to the numbers of countries under international sanctions, for example, Iran or North Korea.
Currently, our system has the following limits on the frequency of sending SMS messages:
- No more than one message per second (1 sms/second)
- No more than 100 messages per hour (100 sms/hour)
- No more than 500 messages per day (500 sms/hour)
If necessary, contact out Support Team to increase the limits individually.
We recommend that you do not shut down the mobile application (e.g. swipe up on iOS) in order to receive notifications and calls correctly. Except when the application is updated.
Billing of Voice Calls and SMS
SMS fee is charged immediately after receiving it.
Call billing is per-minute. If you do not have enough money to continue an active call, it will be forcibly completed approximately 5 seconds before the end of the last paid minute.
Billing of incoming calls starts from the moment they are received, and not at the moment of answering it. If you do not want to be charged for calls, set the "Mute incoming calls" mode in a mobile application. In this case, all incoming calls will be rejected.
Outgoing calls are billed starting from the moment the conversation begins.
Important: The total cost of an outgoing call might be recalculated if the final carrier has issued an additional invoice. In this case, you will be charged an additional amount, which will be displayed in the list of transactions as an "Extra call".
The maximum conversation duration is 4 hours for incoming call and 1 hour for outgoing call. This time may vary depending on the settings of the carrier that receives/transmits the call.
An outgoing call is forcibly completed after 90 seconds if there is no answer. This time may vary if the carrier has set different settings.
Calls to emergency numbers (911, 112, etc) are prohibited and will be declined.
Top-Ups, and Payments
Services are prepaid, with some available on a subscription basis. We accept payments via bank cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal.
All calculations are made in the internal currency of service, which is fixed and equivalent to the US dollar.
The minimum top-up amount is $5, and the maximum is $3600.
For any payment (order or top-up), the deposit amount will be increased to the minimum - $5. For example, if you need to top up your balance by $3 to place an order, then you will be billed for $5 and the surplus ($2) will remain on your balance.
Refund Policy and Cancellation
Account Holders can cancel usage of service within 14 days, unless the service is already performed. For a comprehensive understanding of the conditions and processes associated with refunds, refer to the Numgo Refund Policy.
Once rented and activated, virtual numbers are non-refundable.
Important: If your account balance has gone negative and you have received more than 5 SMS messages, your virtual phone number will be revoked. Additionally, all active numbers on your account will be deactivated immediately.
