Virtual Phone Numbers for Business with Numgo

Call forwarding lets you choose another phone number to receive calls made to your Numgo virtual number.

Use it to direct incoming calls to the phone you use during the working day or to a colleague who handles customer inquiries. Customers continue calling the business number you’ve shared, while you choose where those calls are answered.

You can’t always pick up the phone, but you can still give callers a clear response.

Enable voicemail on your Numgo number, and incoming calls will be answered and recorded automatically. Callers can leave a message without you picking up, and you can listen to the recordings on the Calls screen for that number.

You can also customize the greeting callers hear when the voicemail answers, choose a male or female voice, and select the language. Introduce your business, explain your working hours, or ask callers to leave the information you need to follow up.

It’s a simple way to make your number more useful outside business hours or whenever you’re unable to take calls.

Numgo lets you mute incoming calls on a specific number or across your entire account. Make one business number unavailable while keeping others active, or mute all your numbers when you need uninterrupted time.

When mute is enabled, incoming calls are disconnected and appear as missed calls in your call history. You can review them later and call back when you’re ready.

Use mute during meetings, outside working hours, or whenever you need a break from incoming calls.

If several people in your business use Numgo, each employee can install the app on their own phone and use a separate account.

With balance transfers, you can send funds to team members from a single Numgo account while they continue using their own accounts independently.

For example, you can send balance to a colleague before they contact clients abroad, then transfer more funds when they need them.

Numgo allows you to transfer a virtual number from one Numgo account to another. When a colleague takes over a role or project, you can move the existing number to their account.

The person managing the number can change while customers keep using the same contact number – useful for staff changes and project handovers.

Keep everyday business numbers active automatically, or manage renewals yourself for numbers used on short projects and campaigns.

Numgo lets you choose between automatic renewal and manual renewal. With automatic renewal enabled, your number renews each month using your account balance, provided you have enough funds. If you prefer manual renewal, you can extend your number at any time from your dashboard.

Numgo gives you access to the SIP credentials associated with your virtual numbers. These are the connection details you use to configure a compatible SIP client.

If you use SIP software for business calls, you can retrieve your number’s credentials and enter them in your client’s connection settings.
